Director's Welcome Note

Thank you for visiting the UCF Health Services website. This site includes information you should find useful. Remember, the UCF Health Services program is funded exclusively by you. It is YOUR program. The health fee you pay every semester, which is included in your tuition, entitles you to unlimited primary care visits with no office visit charge. However, there are nominal charges for other services such as lab tests, x-rays and procedures...a bargain compared to charges at local clinics and hospitals.

In addition to medical care for injuries or illnesses at the Health Center, there are many additional services available just for the asking. Biofeedback and massage therapy are available in the Health Center Annex. Also, the Wellness Center, located in the Recreation and Wellness Center, features the CHAMP (comprehensive health assessment and motivation program), nutrition counseling (with a registered dietitian), HIV testing and counseling, and workshops on topics ranging from sexual health to weight management and relaxation techniques. And, we have our own Pharmacy to fill your prescriptions, provide over-the-counter medications and many convenience products to meet your everyday needs.

Finally, I know you are concerned about quality. Our program is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). The successful outcome of this program review every three years is our promise to you that we provide the high quality services you would expect to receive from any accredited health care program.
